Palmer is having a March for Science! April 22, 2017 beginning behind the Palmer Library at 2 pm with events through 6 pm. This is coordinated with the national March for Science in DC and with seven other marches in Alaska. There will be speakers, drumming, a march, and events for interacting with the science community. Kid-friendly!
Recent policy changes have caused heightened worry among scientists, and the outpouring of support has made clear that these concerns are shared by people around the world. The March for Science is a celebration of our enthusiasm for science and our support for the scientific community. Staying silent is no longer an option. On April 22, we march!
